As the jaffar was ruling in the sultans place (he was away) he locked up the nameless foreigner and told the princess she had an hour to decide to marry him or die. The foreigner escaped, killed the jaffar and rescued the princess. The only reward for his actions that he wanted was to take the princess' hand in marrige to which the sultan agreed to (when he got back). Thus he became the Prince of Persia<br /><br />i got no problem with the prince being a white guy as if you play the 1989 prince of persia, its obviously a pixelated white dude. The movie is based far more on the rebooted Ubisoft created games. Overall i will probably see this just not at the theatre. It all looks a bit too much like a cookie cutter summer movie.
