Cold War Kids Showcase “Behave Yourself,” Creedence Cover Live at Rolling Stone
Cold Wars Kids recently stopped by the Rolling Stone offices for an intimate performance of a pair of songs off the band’s recent EP Behave Yourself. Above, watch the Long Beach indie rockers showcase the EP’s opening track “Audience,” then hit the jump for two more songs: Behave Yourself’s “Santa Ana Winds” and a moving cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Cosmo’s Factory closer “Long As I Can See the Light,” which the band has been performing live at recent shows.

Nathan has a very distinctive voice is what I meant.
Eh, I listened to Loyalty To loyalty, and it’s not a great album. Just couldn’t get into it. It lacked the spark that made Robbers & Cowards so good. Nathan has a very distinctive that can either sound great or horrible depending on the song. It sounded great on R&C. It was unbearable on LTL. Too songs were slow and somber on LTL. Oh well, better luck next album, hopefully. CWK are still an awesome and talented band nonetheless.
Audience is a fanstastic CWK track. Maybe Loyalty to Loyalty would have been more of a success both commercially and critically if it had been included on it.
